The Walpole Townhouse is an extraordinary collaboration, uniting some of the most distinguished names in British luxury. From bespoke furnishings to heritage wallpapers and handwoven textiles, every detail reflects the excellence of homegrown craftsmanship.
Starting with an Entrance Hall which features a mosaic floor inlaid with the Walpole logo and bespoke Cole & Son wallpaper, with the hallway showcasinf Rothschild & Bickers handcrafted wall lights.
As a proud Walpole member and award- winning interior design studio at the Accouter Group of Companies, we are delighted to unveil The Walpole Townhouse, the new headquarters of Walpole, the official sector body for UK luxury.
Curated and designed by our Group Design Director Rhian Barker, this project is a love letter to British luxury, seamlessly bringing together the finest craftsmanship and heritage through collaborations with Walpole’s storied members across the British luxury ecosystem.
The Members’ Room combines comfort and style, highlighted with Edward Bulmer-painted bookshelves, and accents of Sanderson fabrics. The Conference Room features a grand, salvaged wood table by Goldfinger, an artistic hand-crafted tapestry by Holmes Bespoke, and Edward Bulmer Natural Paint used on each of the walls.
The WC extends the bespoke Cole & Son wallpaper narrative with an inverted colour-way, complemented by brass sanitary-ware and an antique ceramic flower basin.
