STYLE TIPS:
HOW TO CREATE YOUR OWN OUTDOOR OASIS_

STYLE TIPS April 2020

British Summer Time has officially begun and although we may not be able to experience the full potential of the great outdoors, fresh air remains a priority. Our services stretch further than the interior of your home. Naturally, as designers, we know the exterior environment is just as important. Whether you have your own garden, terrace or simply wanting a 5-minute escape from quarantine, we hope to bring you some inspiration when creating your own outdoor oasis for you to escape to.

“Utilise what is beyond your outdoor space to extend your garden further.”

EMBRACE A QUIET COURTYARD

Walled gardens are a great way to imagine your outdoor space like a room inside. Don’t be hesitant to decorate the walls, painting these can instantly make your foliage stand out, whilst creating a feature point within the space. Our Lyons Place’s tranquil courtyard features a white wall contrasted with luscious green leaf panelling. With no room to plant, large pots of greenery instantly brings the courtyard to life, creating a peaceful place to hide away.

FRAME YOUR VIEW

Utilise what is beyond your outdoor space to extend your garden further. Our Chancery Quarters project showcases its very own private roof top garden. The dining and seating area are thoughtfully positioned whilst framing London’s skyline offering a view like no other to your guests.

MAKE IT MULTIFUNCTIONAL

Outdoor spaces can have different purposes just like inside your home. By doing this the exterior creates a natural extension to the interior space. Our One Tower Bridge project features the perfect multifunctional external living zone. A large sofa area is the perfect environment to relax in after cooking in the outdoor kitchen. Whilst a pagoda stands over the dining table providing the right amount of shelter as you eat.
