STYLE GUIDE: HOW TO ADD BOTANICALS INTO YOUR HOME
STYLE GUIDE May 2021
Like most, our design team love to incorporate flowers into their interiors to style a space whether it’s indoors or out. Whilst flowers bring an essence of nature to a room, they are also perfect for injecting colour, brightening, and enhancing a sense of life into the home. We style flowers and plants throughout our luxury interior design portfolio whether it’s a calming Peace Lily, or the smell of a sweet English Rose. Our designers are sharing their top interior tips on how you can style bold flowers in your home.
“If you have no room to plant, large pots of greenery will bring your garden to life instantly.”
GO BIG INSIDE
Make a statement and go big with your indoor plants. They are a fantastic way to bring the outdoors in as well as filling those awkward empty spaces. Featured in our award-winning show home, The W1 Townhouse, an 8ft tall palm tree takes centre stage within the vast space of the dining area whilst enhancing the colour palette from below which climbs up the sky-high wall.
VIBRANT FEATURES OUTDOORS
Don’t be hesitant to decorate your garden walls, painting these can instantly make your foliage pop out, whilst creating a feature point within your garden. Take inspiration from our award-winning Lyons Place luxury show home, where the designers created a tranquil courtyard by panelling luscious green plants juxtaposed against a pristine wall. If you have no room to plant, large pots of greenery will bring your garden to life instantly.
SOFT FLORALS
Enhance the floral décor further and include luxury soft furnishings with subtle floral hints, such as Bazaar’s Flora Promenade Rug. In our upcoming portfolio, our designers styled the interiors with floral cushions from our friends at House of Hackney and you can follow our Instagram to be the first to see.
